Dr Alicia Wu graduated from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2011. She trained in tertiary hospitals in Sydney before receiving her Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians with specialisation in Geriatric Medicine in 2018. She subsequently worked as a VMO in Geriatric Medicine at St. George Public Hospital, Sydney.

Dr Alicia Wu is a Consultant Physician and Geriatrician and specialises in Geriatric Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Dr Wu grew up in Sydney and received her medical degree at the University of New South Wales. She was admitted to the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians with specialisation in Geriatric Medicine in 2018.
Dr Wu moved to the Gold Coast in 2019 to be with family. Her primary practice is currently at Robina Private Hospital.
Dr Wu has special interest in the diagnosis and management of dementia, and delirium in the older patient. She has done research in delirium in the elderly hospitalised patient, including the association with medication and the education for medical staff to better recognise and manage the condition. She presented her research at the Australian and New Zealand Society for Geriatric Medicine Annual Scientific Meeting.
Dr Wu is committed to providing comprehensive evidence-based, holistic, multidisciplinary and dignified care to the ageing patient. She also endeavours to provide open and effective communication with her patients, family and caregivers as a crucial part of her clinical practice. As well as English, Dr Wu is fluent in Mandarin.
Dr Wu hopes to expand her practice to include visits to residential aged care facilities in the Gold Coast area as well as domiciliary home visits.
